Dieses Malbuch beinhaltet ausgesprochen schöne Zeichnungen, teilweise mit Hintergrund, es sind wunderbare Vorlagen zum Ausmalen, die Ergebnisse machen Freude. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr schönes Buch, sehr wertig und tolle Vorlagen. Würde es immer wieder verschenken, aber das erste bleibt auf jeden Fall bei uns!

This is my second coloring book by artist Juliana Emerson. The first, “Cute Cats” is one of my favorite realistic cat coloring books. In “Creative Animals”, Ms. Emerson has created 30 “doodle” style animals with some with blank backgrounds and others in various settings. The outline of the animals is very realistic; however, the doodles give the colorist the ability to use many different colors in place of a realistic rendering of the animal.There are many animal designs in this book, including: lion, koala bear, elephant, cat, peacock and much much more. I am really pleased to see a “doodle” style book of original designs as so many others are simply licensing that I have already seen and colored before.My first project in this coloring book was the elephant in a savannah setting. I used my Tombows water-based markers for this design. I find that using the brush side gives a more muted water-color effect to my projects.I will provide a detailed description of what I found in the book below, but here is a quick overview:30 Hand-drawn “doodle” style animals designsDesigns are printed on one side of non-perforated white pageGlue boundDesigns do not merge into the bindingAlcohol and water-based markers bleed through pageGel pens and Pitt India Ink pens leave shadows of color on back of pageColoring pencils work well with this paperThe designs are printed on one side of thin white non-perforated paper that is typical for books published by CreateSpace. The binding is glued but there is plenty of room for you to cut a page out if you choose to do so. The designs stop well before the binding. I was able to get the book to lay flat by press down hard on the open spine.All of the designs have a “framing” line around the outside. I really like this as it gives me a natural stopping point, saves ink/pencil, and also gives me a more finished looking project when I color. I always try to mention it if an artist includes this feature.I test my coloring books with a wide variety of coloring medium, which I will list at the end of this review. Here is what my tests found:All of my markers (alcohol and water based) bleed through and my gel pens and India Ink artist pens either bleed through or leave a distinct shadow on the back of the page. My coloring pencils work well with the paper and behave as expected for their type of lead. The hard lead leaves indents on the back of the page. I will use a piece of chipboard or heavy paper behind the page I am working on so I don't ruin the following page with leaking ink.These are the coloring medium that I use for testing. If there is something else you feel I should be testing, please let me know and I will see if I can add it to my growing pile:Markers: 1) alcohol-based – Copic Sketch, Prismacolor double ended markers (brush and fine point), Sharpies (fine and ultra-fine) Bic Mark-its (fine and ultra-fine) and 2) water-based – Tombows dual end markers (brush and fine point), Stabilo 88, and Staedler triplus finelinersIndia Ink: Faber-Castell PITT artist pens (brush tip)Gel Pens: Sakura, Fiskars, Uni-ball Signo in the following sizes - 0.28/0.38/0.5/1.0 and TekwriterColoring Pencils: Prismacolor Premier Soft Core, Derwent Colorsoft, Prismacolor Verithins, Caran D'Ache Pablo Colored Pencils and Faber-Castell Polychromos

If it weren't for the thin paper and cheap printing/ink, this book would have gotten five stars. The designs are fun.The paper is so thin that you can see the design on the following page while you're coloring the one you're working on. I recommend using a backing sheet to block that out. Good thing the pages are at least single sided.The ink smudges into a lot of the lighter colored pencils I've used...not all of them. It must have something to do with the base used for the pencils, but it shouldn't be happening at all.

Very creative and intricate patterns. These patterns are not got the new artist but for experienced artist simply amazing! You creative juices begin to flow as soon as you open you open your book. Hours of fun.

Excellent pictures. I thought the background was black.... I enjoy coloring the pictures nonetheless!

I just started coloring in this book so far I love all the different animal pictures. I am new at adult colring and this book is done in such a way that it is very easy to follow as far as what colors to use. I would recommend it to anyone who is just starting to do adult coloring.

I've had this book since it first came out, and have read it several times. I read it every couple of years because I have found that I get something different out of it each time. It is the most powerful book on self development I have in my library. Maggie Scarf " Unfinished Bussiness" is the second.If you were to have only one book of this kind in your life, "My Mother, My Self" is the one.Nancy Friday is a thorough researcher and an excellent definer of the complex language of psychology. She is clear & concise for all reading levels from high school on. Reading this book does take time, since her research is so revealing and often heavy. Be prepared for shocking subject matter.This book has served me very well over the years as it will anyone else who reads it.

It took me It took five plus years to read this book.I asked my girlfriend for permission to read it. I hoped it would reveal secrets and I wanted a 'club member's' permission to learn them. I hoped it would be a revelation of the female psyche.It wasn't. In the end, the truth was reinforced that daughters "introject" more of their mother's character than they are generally winning to admit. Not too profound.Friday's point is that mothers and daughters symbiotically depend on each other. Daughters are determined to invest mother with magic importance--the way the baby sees mother. They are lost in that first attachment to her as when she was the Giantess of the Nursery. As long as they are symbiotically linked, there is hope that it is not too late to get perfect love.To mature, daughters must separate from this image of mother, even if it is held after mother's death. Daughters remain childish unless they separate. Separation means "health, independence and tradition-breaking possibilities."I read through to the end, and now the book is in the kitchen trash. I still want to know the female psyche--which explains what kept me going for five years plus.This time, I feel no compulsion to get permission . . .

This book is a must read for every young adolescent girl who find themseleves torn between their quest for individuality and their desire to retain a symbiotic nature with their mother. Friday answers several important questions regarding the development of young woman's sexuality, and the conflicts and misguided messages she faces in trying to grow up as a free thinking, independent women. Much to my surprise, Friday showed me the tremendous influence my parents had in shaping my life, especially my mother. This book is a definite keeper and one you will surely discover brings light to so many unanswered questions.

What a fabulous book! It's especially great for women who have trouble with their mothers specifically when dealing with guilt, fear, and anger, to name a few emotions. You'll find yourself reading passages over and over again. The words on the pages literally jump right out at you and grab hold of your heart. It's definitely something that must be read more than once. Once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down! Flawless! It surely helped me turn my life around.
